The injection moulding tool regarded as a whole

With CCMold Solution the injection moulding tool is seen in general context. In cooperation with the tool manufacturer and user, the tool life is considerably increased by specific coatings of cores and cavities as well as of norm parts, such as ejectors and sliding parts.


The suitable solution for each load scheme

Adhesive wear or galling has no chance on norm parts such as ejectors and sliding parts with CCMold CrN and CCMold DLC. A clean-room production is only possible with a DLC coating with a friction coefficient of 0.1 and a hardness of 2800 HV.

Abrasive wear through plastics often destroys the surfaces of cores and cavities. Corrosion and adhesion of the plastic to the tool parts lead to significant expenses in the injection molding process. CCMold Solution coatings offer new capabilities with tool lives up to 15 fold compared with uncoated tools.
